My dear Sadar-i-Riyasat,


I am highly grateful to you for the trust you have reposed in me by calling me to offer you my aid and advice in the task of constituting a new Cabinet.

In accepting your kind invitation, I am solely guided by a sense of duty to my country, and its people and I shall try to the best of my ability to fulfill the responsibilities which you propose to entrust to me.
I shall be available for consultation at your convenience.

The people of Pakistan are currently in the grip of worst ever terrorism, the country has seen. It is spreading quickly from Taliban strongholds in North-West and FATA to the mainland including the major cities of Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. It would hardly serve any purpose in reiterating here the universally known role of ISI and a section of Pakistan Army in taking the country to the precipice of disaster. more...
